Leap Off the Page, "Be the Hero in Your Own Story".

An innovative, intergenerational program fostering socialization between the ages of 18- 75 yrs old, through art workshops where participants develop stories and create individualized characters from favorite modern or classic tales. At the end of the program, you will exhibit one piece of your Artwork in a month long exhibit with an opening and closing event.

This is a FREE Visual Arts Program. No experience necessary.

Participants requirements are:

1. Must supply their own camera or cellphones with camera to take photos with.

2. Must attend all 8 weekly Thursday evening workshops in order to have a final artwork printed and framed.

3. Must have at least 5 gb memory space on your phone to be able to use photo editing software and to take photos.

Come with a good attitude, open mind and a desire to create art. That's it!

The program schedule and description of classes are as follows:

Workshop runs from September 5th- October 24th

2 Month, weekly workshops. Thursday Nights from 5:30- 7:30 p.m.

November 9th Opening reception (Saturday) runs until Dec 14th

December 14th Closing Reception (Saturday)
